One-time, non-refundable submission fee. You'll fill in your film details next, and pay at the very end on Razorpay's secure page.
Rules & terms
Eligibility & ownership
Only films completed on or after 1 January 2025 are eligible. By submitting, you confirm you own or control all rights to the film and hold the necessary permissions for any music, footage and material used within it.
Screener & subtitles
Films are reviewed via an online screener link (and password, if protected). Films not in English — including Marathi films — must include English subtitles. Preview links must remain active until 31 December 2026.
Fees & payment
Submission fees are per entry and non-refundable under any circumstances, including for films that are not selected. You fill in your film details first; payment is the final step, made securely on Razorpay. Your entry is confirmed only once payment succeeds.
Selection & awards
Selection and awards are determined by the festival jury, whose decisions are final and binding. A Jury Special Mention may be awarded in any category. Selected films are later supplied as a DCP or another NIFF-approved format.
Use of materials
You grant the festival permission to use your trailer, poster, stills, synopsis and biography for promotional and archival purposes related to the festival.
